As a solver on the MindSumo platform, I am very disappointed with the lack of communication and respect that I have experienced. Although I put my time and effort into developing innovative ideas, I did not receive any feedback or reviews for my posts. Not only is this frustrating, but it also hinders my ability to improve and grow as a solver. I sent several emails to the MindSumo team asking about the status of my feedback, but my requests were ignored.
This silence is unacceptable and speaks volumes about the company’s disregard for the contribution of its solution providers. How do you pay?
Now let’s talk about how you can get paid. To win, as mentioned above, your solution must be selected by the company that posted the challenge.
For example, in the photo above, the challenge only awards prizes to the top 25% of entrants and splits the winners further. Only the top 5% share the $1,000 prize. Next 7.5% shares $400 and final 12.5% shares $200.
The key word to note here is “share”. In the example above, if only two people are in the top 5%, that means each will receive a $500 prize. MindSumo the next 7.5% includes two other people, they will each receive $200. And finally, the remaining 12.5% will split the total prize of $200.
This is how wins are calculated for each challenge. Note that the percentage is defined by the company. There will be challenges where 50% of participants will be rewarded, and there will be challenges where a lower percentage of participants will be rewarded.
