Jesse from British Columbia, Canada recently lost her dog Winter on June 11th. According to her TickTock video, Winter Kiddy played in the pool for about an hour. The water level in the lake was only four inches. Jesse said Winter lost his life due to water poisoning. Soon, a TikTok video of dogs dying in a kiddie pool went viral, prompting every pet owner to think twice before letting their pet use the kiddie pool.

According to Jesse, Winter was a very playful dog who loved to be sprayed around. Winter played with Jesse’s friend and took a break from the kiddie pool. Then Jesse noticed that winter was very tiring, but it was normal for a dog on a hot summer day. But all of a sudden the winter is getting very rough and Jesse noticed that his gums were turning yellow. He had no idea what was going to happen. At the time, Jesse had no idea Kiddy Poole was dead.
Then I wanted to go back home in the winter and get into the house and vomit a lot of water. Then he took a few more steps and he began to tremble, salivate, and cry.
As a health worker, Jesse immediately called a nearby veterinarian and they started giving Winters CPR. They rushed Winter to the veterinary hospital and the veterinarians did their best to save Winter. But unfortunately they could not save his life. Winter was only eighteen months old. The sudden death of Winter was truly pathetic.
Causes of Kiddie Pool Death:
The real cause of death is water intoxication. Water intoxication is also called overhydration, water toxemia or water intoxication. Water intoxication occurs when the body is filled with large amounts of water. It removes sodium from the animal’s body. The body then tries to balance the sodium level and the cells use too much fluid, which leads to inflammation.
